This is an anthology of business profiles and stories of W. E. members. The book, co-published with Forever Books, a Canadian book publisher specializing in anthologies, is scheduled to be released in time for Christmas sales.
This business marketing book is designed to help individual W.E. members tell their story and is an excellent tool to use to introduce prospective clients to your services and to set you apart from the other suppliers of your product or service.
Why a book?
Seeing one’s words in print validates and reinforces the value of one’s story. Books provide recognition and credibility for an author or an organization.
High perceived value, but low cost. Instantly identifiable and recognizable. Books have been around for a long time and in spite of digital technology, will continue to be a significant part of our world for some time to come.
Longevity. A book is almost a permanent record of one’s effort or story. It does not easily deteriorate, resulting in a literal “shelf life” – longer than any other media. Most people find it difficult to throw books away, but rather they will give them away or sell them to a used bookstore.
Because of reader considerations and size limitations, this book will be limited to only 18 contributors.
Here are the details:
The book is a trade paper back size (5.5” x 8.5”) and manufactured with FSC (environmentally-friendly) certified material. It will have a full-colour cover and approximately 192 pages. We will be printing between 7,000 and 12,000 books. The books will retail for $17.95.
What makes this project special?
1. Your own full colour photo on the front cover of the books you order.
2. Your chapter will be 8 – 10 pages long and up to 2,500 words.
3. The chapter is written for you by a professional writer after a pre-arranged telephone interview. You will receive an edited copy of your chapter to approve BEFORE it is added to the book.
4. A maximum of 18 contributors – your story will not be lost in the book.
The catch?
Only one. This is a marketing project, designed to benefit the member contributors. As a result, each contributors is asked to order a minimum of 500 books. We have arranged special pricing for contributors ranging from $3.50 to $6.00 per book. And your chapter is in ALL the books we print. A hard cover option is also available.
